Post and Telegraph Office in Lucknow Street, decorated for the visit of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales visit in 1920. The Staff are lined up outside the Post Office, which was opened on the 1st October 1863. The two signs directly behind the staff - one reads Office Hours and the other states; Money Order Office, Post Office Savings Bank, Government Life Insurance.The prince was 25 years of age at the time of this tour and the eldest son of George V who arranged for his son to visit the Dominions as a thank you for the support shown to Britain during the First World War.
