Royal Visit Havelock

Royal Visit Havelock

Havelock decorated for His Royal Highness, Edward, Prince of Wales Visit in 1920. Shows decorations in Lucknow Street and the Commercial Hotel. The prince attracted very large crowds wherever he went. By the end of this tour which also included Australia, he was exhausted and disgruntled and after the tour he suffered a minor nervous breakdown.
