View 1903 - Left hand side partly obscured the Post Office, next the Town Hall. Right hand side Scott's Post Office Hotel, notice the gas lamp attached to the outside of the building. Large building with the steep roof shown on signage as W. Price - General Store. End of the street, The Masonic Hotel and opposite W.H. Orsman's General Store, beyond that the Methodist Church. The Mail & Passenger coach shown would likely be heading to Blenheim via Canvastown. A Mr William Pickering was advertising the Havelock Mail Coach every Monday and Thursday at 9am Havelock to Blenheim, arriving Blenheim about 3pm.
