A view towards the Havelock Wharf at the foot of Cook Street with Cullen's Point across the harbour. The 2-storied house on the left was the home of William Ross Brownlee (of timber mill fame) and his family. Mr Brownlee's home afforded him from any window vantage point an opportunity to keep tabs on his and other vessels coming past Cullen's Point to his Sawmill and Wharf at Blackball which was just out of this view.
