In the Marlborough Express Newspaper of the 25th November 1910 it was reported from the Havelock Correspondent." Thursday - The schooner Amelia Sims sailed from the Blackball wharf this morning with 65,000 feet of timber for Lyttelton. The timber industry in the district generally is in a most flourishing condition, and there is every indication of its continuing so." (abridged)
