16.2.61 Queenstown This is one of the views from where we are now. We enjoyed the plane trip to Christchurch very much and could see all of the top of the South Island it is very barron and rugged. We went lots of trips in Christchurch and saw all the beautiful gardens. Timaru we liked very much and the shops are much nicer than ChCh. We were out on this lake yesterday and hope to take a full day trip on Monday. We have a special joke to tell you about something that happened in Christchurch and getting into the boat yesterday. You will be hearing from Mrs Joynt in a few days. Love from us both. E. Attwood
