A wonderful birds eye view of the esplanade at Sumner Beach an historical icon can be seen on the bottom left of the postcard.Referred to as the Scarborough Clock Tower, the foundation stone of the clock tower was laid on 14 Dec. 1934. It is situated on the reserve at the Taylor's Mistake end of Scarborough Park, a concrete and stone clock tower with four faces.
